Departure at 9 AM from our Hostel. You will first drive on the tarred road to leave the plains of Marrakech. Small villages follow each other between a vast planted with olive trees landscape, separated by a natural border.

We then pass through apple, orchards before arriving in the market village of Douar Asni, the sight on the snowy summits of the High Atlas during winter. The altitude is around 1800m. We cross over the river and proceed to Sidi Fares where there is a wonderful view of Mount Toubkal; a collection of Berber villages irrigated by springs below Mount Oukaimden. You will discover the lifestyle of the Berber inhabitants of the mountains…Depending on the season; the meadows are filled with poppies making them look like the wonderful impressionist paintings. You will stop close the riverbank. The meal is taken in a small typical restaurant where you will taste a real Tajin or have a feast over delicious skewers or grilled meat cooked right in front of you, or in a restaurant with Morocco good food, near waterfalls. It will be the occasion to go and admire the splendid Setti Fatma waterfalls, a bit of a tough walk nonetheless accessible …

We can visit the weekly souk (market) in Asni every Saturday. We can visit the weakly souk (market) in Tahnawt every Tuesday. We can visit a typical Berber house.
